The past few months have been busy at CoinLion. We have come a long way, from coffee shop talk to the startup we are today. It has been just over a year since the CoinLion concept was formed out of the need for a better way to research, trade, and manage cryptocurrency.

In the short year we have experienced the roller coaster that is early stage blockchain and cryptocurrency. While we have seen a recent downturn in the crypto markets, we have not seen a slow down of innovation to the space.

CoinLion continues to focus on development, along with the mission of growth and adoption of cryptocurrency. Development of the beta version is nearly complete. The team continues to work towards the platform and has plans to launch the private beta in late October, with the public launch following toward the end of the year.

While this is later than our originally anticipated launch date we have taken the necessary time to ensure world class security & compliance.

We are proud to announce that we will be working with BitGo for fund storage, Trulioo for identity verification, and Chainalysis for blockchain monitoring. These relationships along with others have taken time to solidify, and are necessary for the long term success of CoinLion.

Tech Update

Development and testing continues into September. While there have been challenges along the way, progress continues.

CoinLion recently completed it’s first external control audit and is pleased to announce a successful audit with minimal areas of concern. These areas have been addressed, and the team is moving forward to network security and penetration testing audits.

While much of the platform is completed, there are more features that are in development and coins being added. The development of the platform is ongoing and the team is working hard to have the core features of the beta functional at launch with a robust selections of coins.

Lion Alliance

CoinLion has launched the LION Alliance and is in the early stages of forming partnerships with influencers and businesses who share the common goal of cryptocurrency adoption. The LION Alliance is comprised of like-minded and forward-thinking individuals along with companies who are committed to expanding the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

The LION Alliance was founded with the goal to assist in education, development, and adoption of cryptocurrency in the real world.

Blockchain and cryptocurrency technology are in the early stages. Part of CoinLion’s mission is to educate and assist companies in the integration of blockchain and cryptocurrency technology into their everyday operations. It is CoinLion’s belief that in order for ecosystem to expand, real world application and adoption is necessary.

CoinLion is committed to improving and increasing adoption. By joining the LION Alliance, these businesses and influencers are committed to assisting in this mission.

At this time, the LION Alliance is free for members to join. In addition, CoinLion is committed to incentivizing alliance members for contributing to this cause.

CoinLion Reports and Crypto Classification System

One of CoinLion’s missions is to empower those currently in crypto and those new to crypto with the tools they need to make educated decisions.

CoinLion has developed a crypto classification system to allow for quick and easy comparison of digital assets. This system assigns each coin a classification symbol that can be used to identify the coin or token quickly and easily. We look forward to seeing this system evolve and mature as CoinLion heads to launch and beyond. Reports on major cryptocurrencies will be available in the coming weeks, and all reports will also be available exclusively to LION holders in the CoinLion Research Portal.
